If the races get rained out Friday at your local track then you might as well pull the stock car here. It is probably rain or shine. lol I can't imagine what will show up to this.

1st $1,000, 2nd $300, 3rd $100, 4th-9th $75, 10th-12th $50 Consolation Winners – $100

RULES & REGULATIONS
1. Everyone must pay the $6.00 gate admission fee.
2. All vehicles inspected by the chief steward or his assistants for compliance with all safety regulations prior to the event. Their decision as to the qualification of the vehicle is final. Absolutely no arguing with the chief steward’s decision.
3. Driver must be 18 years of age or older. Drivers 16 & 17 years of age may drive if a release is signed by an accompanying parent.
4. CARS ONLY = American cars or station wagons allowed. NO JEEPS, TRUCKS, CARRYALLS,
CONVERTIBLES, ETC.
5. Driver may enter each heat but same vehicle may enter only 1 preliminary heat.
6. Drivers must sign entry blank form and demolition derby driver’s release form prior to race time.
7. All drivers must be present for drivers meeting
Friday at 6:45 p.m.
8. Additional rules and regulations may be imposed or changed depending on safety regulations.
9. No use of drugs or intoxicants will be allowed on the track or pit areas. Offenders will be disqualified and expelled from the track area.
10. No pitmen allowed in show arena during a heat.
11. Gas leak = vehicle will be disqualified.
12. You get one fire. If car restarts and conditions are
safe you get one more chance before disqualification.
13. Reckless driving or reckless conduct when
entering or exiting track or pit area will result in immediate disqualification and forfeiture of entry fees.
14. Car will be making left-handed turns.
15. Batteries and fuel tanks must be secure and seat belt used. These rules will be strictly enforced!
Heats
• All 4, 6 & 8 cylinder cars will run together. NO TRUCKS
• $100 to consolation race winners. Number of
consolation races will be determined that night.
• All cars will run 2 heat races for a points total.
Starting positions inverted from Heat 1 to Heat 2.
• A minimum of 8 laps will be ran during heat races.
• Feature will be one race to win.
• Finishing order decided upon by committee is final and not up for review or discussion. Anyone who argues with committee or fair board directors will be removed.
• Heat sizes and laps run will be decided night of race.
• A womans class will run seperate with a minimum of six enteries – $100 to winner.
• THIS IS A RACE. Any driver deliberately blocking or trying to take out opponents will be disqualified.
Preparation of Vehicles
1. Slogan, advertising or printing may be placed
anywhere on vehicle except on the vehicle front doors.
Steward may request removal of unacceptable words.
2. Radiators and fans may be removed but not
relocated. Batteries may be replaced in a secure
position and if so, must be covered. Bumpers and fenders may be trimmed. Driver’s door must be
reinforced on outside of vehicle.
3. All glass must be removed before reaching the
fairgrounds, this includes all mirrors.
4. A maximum of 5 gallons of gas allowed. Cars only = Tanks should be placed in the back seat area and
properly secured with a protective cover. Original gas tanks must be removed.
5. All trunks must be empty of debris, spare parts, etc.
6. SAFETY BELTS & HELMETS REQUIRED!!!
7. NO FLASHING LIGHTS ON ANY VEHICLE.
Removal of Vehicles: Each driver must remove his
vehicle from the fairgrounds by 2:00 p.m. Sunday, July 25, 2010. Failing to do so, the vehicle becomes the property of the Henderson County Fair
Association. Vehicles left on the fairgrounds are at the drivers’ risk.
8. Roof Mounted car number boards and bars
from hood to roof in front of driver are highly
recommended.

Im guessing they race in the same place where they are having the figure 8 tonight. Which....isn't very big.
